 Stella H. Przywara, 91, a resident of the Laurels at Mid Valley and formerly of Taylor, died Wednesday morning February 24, 2010 at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward “Baker” Przywara who died September 22, 2006.
Born in Port Griffith, she was the daughter of the late John and Blanche Kwiatkowski Oleksiak. She was a former member of St. Michael’s Church, Old Forge and prior to retirement she was employed by Hillcrest Shade Co., Old Forge.
Stella was a longtime resident of Taylor and for the past three years she was a resident of the Laurels, Peckville. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Laurels and her friend Rita Moran her roommate. Also a special thank you to all her good neighbors in Taylor for their help and prayers.
Surviving is a son, Walter, Blakely; daughters Monica Mariano, Dickson City and Patricia Schweitzer, Holly Springs, NC; grandchildren, Anthony Mariano, Nicole Atkinson, Hope and Brian Schweitzer, Mary Alexis and Susan Addley; great grandchildren, Madasen Mariano and Isabell Schweitzer; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter and sisters, Nell, Lottie and Mary.
