Romanski , Alexander . Obituary


Alexander S. Romanski, of Scott Twp., died Saturday morning January 30, 2010 at home. He is survived by his wife the former Marie Matous; they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on February 27.

Born in Dickson City, he was the son of the late Stanley and Sophie Grzybowski Romanski, and he was a member of St. John Vianney Church, Montdale. He owned and operated Romanski Trucking for 50 years, and he served with the Army Reserve. He attended Dickson City Schools.

He was a loving and caring husband, father and friend who enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and everyone who knew him.

Surviving are two sons, Al Romanski Jr., Reeders, PA and Michael, at home; a brother Robert Graziul and wife Debbie, Dickson City; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Edward Graziul.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City with mass at 10 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, Montdale. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Scott Twp.
